Who We Are
Lucky Lantern Cafe is a mobile cafe counter/coffee cart in the Catskills region in Upstate NY. The mobile coffee counter is an Asian-American, women-owned, and operated entity. Lucky Lantern is about bringing good eats and good vibes only to you. We specialize in Asian-themed drinks and pastries. A lot of the menu is influenced by Taiwanese cafe culture. Diana Lee, the founder and creator of Lucky Lantern is of Taiwanese descent. She grew up eating these pastries and drinking these beverages that are nostalgic, but cozy and she wants to bring the same coziness to you all! The name of the café comes from the prominent use of lanterns in Asian culture. When you light a ‘lucky lantern,’ it symbolizes happiness, prosperity, and wards off negative forces. The lit lantern can represent people letting go of their past selves and begin anew. We want anybody who experiences Lucky Lantern to have an open mind and open heart. Let’s all enjoy some cozy food and drinks together!
